So, here I am. Like most of you I've decided to start on that dreaded road to "getting fit".

I've exercised here and there, but I haven't had the motivation or push to really make a lifestyle change.

Then, the other day it hit me. I want to like myself. I want to be able to look into the mirror and be proud of how I look. I have my whole life ahead of me! I want to be in my best shape possible now, and make habits now that will help me stay that way.

Hopefully, on the way, I will develop some self-esteem. ;)

This blog will be my fitness journal. Everyday I will report on my fitness/exercise, eating, and feelings during my journey. I might even post a recipe/tip or two. Who knows.

Here is what my plan is going to look like:

  • Cardio 3x a week
  • Strength Training (or Yoga) 2x a week
  • Calorie intake will be around 1,433

Alright, here we goes nothing. :)
